RAS LAFFAN PROJECT

Ras Laffan Industrial City, situated along the northeast coast of Qatar, is one of the fastest growing industrial cities in the world. Within just a few years it is expected to expand from 106 square kilometers to nearly 250 square kilometers. The city’s deep-water port (RAS LAFFAN PORT) is able to accommodate the largest categories of tanker and cargo ships, including LNG carriers and VLCCs (very-large crude carriers). Covering an area of 8.5 square kilometers, Ras Laffan port is in fact the world’s largest LNG export facility.

DN5 Marine’s, Marine professionals contributed their personal presence from May 2009 to Sep 2010, in the planning and commissioning of RLPEP PROJECT NUMBER- 2546/ EPIC (FOR BESIX L.L.C.) (ENGINEERING PROCUREMENT, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING) FOR BERTHS AND PORT INFRASTRUCTURE FOR RAS-LAFFAN PORT EXPANSION PROJECT QATAR. During the project, our professionals were working directly under BESIX L.L.C. and conducted the installation of Dolphin Blocks and all the subsea to topside laying of blocks, in the following jetty and quay wall construction.

Quay Wall Construction.
Achieved the final successful approval from client and third party inspectors (TPI) and demobilized the team after the load test were conducted successfully and approved by Qatar Petroleum.

Centered on Takreer's Ruwais Refinery, In addition to the original 120,000 barrels (19,000 m3)-per-day refinery, which was expanded in 1985 with the commissioning of a 27,000 bbl/d (4,300 m3/d) hydro cracker complex,

DN5 Marine’s, civil, inspectional and marine professionals were working directly under the guidelines of TARGET ENGG CONST COMPANY L.L.C. (UAE). All our professional experts contributed their services to the NGL- 4 Train project, The project scope of works includes engineering, design, procurement, supply, install, construction, mechanical completion, testing and commissioning for the sea water system. hydro tests, It consists of three pipes of 108\"(2.75m diameter) about 2kms into sea, connected to a underwater concrete Intake pump house.

Our team achieved the final successful approval from principal client PETROFAC and GASCO and third party inspectors (TPI) and demobilized the team after the hydro tests were conducted successfully and approved by principals.

DN5 Marine’s Project Manager Mr. Adtiya Varma’s contributed his service from JAN 2014 to DEC 2015, directly to CH2M (Under CH2M’s Guidelines) for project worth EUR€90 million (USD$97 million) project aimed at expanding the existing, largest and fastest growing Deepwater container terminal in Poland – DCT Gdansk. As a Project Manager in contract engineering department his major roles and responsibilities …. working in close cooperation with the DCT Gdansk team right from the start in early 2014, preparing the tender process for contractor selection. Committed to a tight schedule and keeping our word, we tapped into our expert teammates from across the UK and Poland who worked long hours to deliver documentation in a timely manner. Their dedication, collaboration and experience solving similar big, complex challenges enabled DCT Gdansk to successfully select an experienced global contractor at a satisfactory price.

This complex project includes constructing 650 meters (2,133 feet) of additional quay adjacent to the shore 17 meters (56 feet) beneath the pier area. These parameters will allow DCT Gdansk to serve the largest container vessels in the world and encourage more freight lines to use their services.

Naval Dockyard, Mumbai is the premier ship repair yard of the Indian Navy. With a history of over 200 years, it is one of the largest of its kind in Asia. The yard is the frontliner in technology for repair of ships.There are mentions about ship building activities at the Naval Dockyard dating back to 1671. However, the foundations of the modern naval dockyard were established in 1735. The 1800’s Dockyard is self contained with few Dry Docks named, CG DOCK, DUNCAN DRY DOCK, BOMBAY DRY DOCK, INNER BREAK WATER, SOUTH BREAK WATER, TORPEDO DOCK. and one WET BASIN.
